Peter enjoys using his expertise to simplify and explain complex financial and legal concepts in a way that anyone can understand.

  • Experience: Peter spent a decade with First National Bank Wealth Management in Fort Collins and Boulder, Colorado, providing advice to clients regarding their trust and estate, investment management, and financial planning needs. There, he held the position of Director on the Private Client Services and Trust Services teams. Peter's broad professional experience includes settling claims for a national auto insurance carrier, in-house corporate law work for a publicly owned TV and media company, and the mediation of cases in Denver County Court. He is an active member of the Trust & Estates Section of the Larimer County Bar Association and the Boulder County Estate Planning Council. Peter earned his undergraduate degree in Finance, Investments, and Banking from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his law degree from the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law. He holds the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation and the FINRA Series 65 securities license, and is admitted to the practice of law in Colorado.
  • Outside Interests: Peter often shares his trust and probate administration knowledge by volunteering at Call-A-Lawyer phone nights, Ask-A-Lawyer clinics, and at Senior Law Day. He likes spending his time with his wife and children, enjoys live music, biking, hiking, skiing, golfing, and any other excuse he can find to get outside.
  • Something You’d Never Guess: Despite being an enthusiastic fan of all sports teams from his home state of Wisconsin, Peter grew up rooting for the Broncos, and cheered for them to beat the Packers in the 1998 Super Bowl.
