Experience

John has worked with some of the largest institutions in North America, including top ten banks, regional banks, and smaller investment advisors with trust services. He administered trusts and managed institutional client relationships across the western and midwestern United States. He is an active member of the Rocky Mountain Estate Planning Council and Boulder County Estate Planning Council.

 

John bears the rare accolade of a trust-specific college degree, having graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Trust Administration, as well as a master’s in Business Administration, from Campbell University in North Carolina. He holds the Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) designation granted by the American Bankers Association, as well as the Accredited Trust and Financial Advisor (ATFA) designation from Campbell University’s professional arm, the Southeastern Trust School.

Not one to do things halfway, John is an active member of USA Powerlifting as a competitor, national-level referee, and announcer. John holds the current New York State Record for the total (combination of Squat, Bench Press, and Deadlift) in his competitive division within the Revolution Powerlifting Syndicate federation, a record that remains unbroken since 2017.

 John is also a fine woodworker, and has built several pieces of furniture currently in his home.

 When not holding a microphone, barbell, or chisel, John enjoys hiking, playing music, and explaining the precise ratio of N2 to CO2 required to properly dispense Guinness draught beer.

John was a varsity cheerleader while attending Campbell University for all four of his NCAA eligible seasons, helping the team take 3rd place at CanAm nationals in his final year.
